Gardening Club

As part of the Learning for Sustainability Improvement Priority, the Gardening Club meet weekly.  Mrs McQueenie supports the pupils to be responsible citizens and to look after the school’s area within the Community Allotment at the rear of the school.

Everyone has been learning about safe working practices and how to care for the plants and the equipment.  Everyone involved has enjoyed learning about the different growing seasons and the importance of good planning to ensure planting takes place at the correct time for the best crops. Everyone is looking forward to the vegetable planting and seeing the whole cycle from seeds to cooking.

The purchase of our cooking stations means that we can now cook whatever we grow safely in school.

Welcome to the Loudoun-Montgomery and Early Years Website. Have fun browsing!
