Primary 7

August 2019

Our focus this month has been creating routines in our new classroom. During Health and Wellbeing we have been busy creating our class charter.

September 2019

We have been busy developing our leadership skills across the school. We have started paired reading with P1. Stephen Fraser (Active schools co-ordinator) has started working with us to develop our coaching skills in leading sports activities for the infants. Mrs McQueenie has been helping us set up our P7 plant boxes in the allotment.

October 2019

We attended a workshop at the Maritime museum where we got the opportunity to learn about renewable energy. This was a great introduction to our new topic of ‘Energy and Sustainability’

November 2019

The weather may have turned colder but P7 have wrapped up and managed to get outdoors. We have been taking part in a variety of literacy and numeracy activities. We have also been checking up on our planting.

December 2019

We were delighted to participate in our follow up workshop linked to renewable energy. We had the opportunity to participate in different activities and deepen our knowledge.

Some P7 pupils continued to develop their numeracy and maths skills outdoors.

January 2019

P7 have been continuing to develop our skills within food technology. We are trying to develop our chopping skills.
