Our Nurture Group is led by Mrs Johnston (Nurture Teacher) and Mrs Gemmell (Nurture Classroom Assistant).  The Nurture Group offers short-term focused interventions within small group settings within a dedicated nurture space – Serendipity Suite.  Our Nurture groups assesses and support learning, social and emotional needs, providing the necessary inputs to identify and reduce barriers to learning and development. There is emphasis on communication and language development. Nothing is taken for granted and everything is explained, demonstrated and supported through role modelling.  Children who attend one of our Nurture Groups remain an active part of their class, spending an appropriate time within our Nurture setting according to their need.
