How are you? We are so close to Easter holidays 🙂
Here are some Easter related activities that you can do at home with your families! 🙂 You can use things you have at home to make some lovely Easter art: potatoes, paper roll, forks, pom pom, corks.

I have also added some Easter egg colouring templates for you to be creative and use your imagination to decorate them. You can use crayons, paint, colouring food and shaving foam, tissue paper and glue, stickers, anything you want. You can also use these templates and stick them on coloured cards to make lovely Easter cards for your friends, families and/ or neighbours. Remember to stay safe- so if you want to deliver any card, just leave them outside their doors! I am looking forward to see what you have made! 🙂
Last but not least, here is an Easter egg hunt for you to do at home. There are different coloured eggs and numbers up to 10. Your family can hide them somewhere in the house or your garden. What are you going to do next? Take your favourite pen and start looking for them! When you find them, you can make a mark on the paper. Can you point and count how many they are? That would be great too! 🙂

Skye Class Scavenger Hunt
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well and staying safe. Today I have set a wee challenge for you all 🙂 As the weather is so nice and dry lets get wrapped up and get out in the Garden. It’s Monday again and the sun is out 🙂 I hope you all had a good weekend spending time with your families!
I really enjoy seeing your photos and what you have been doing at home! I would encourage all of you to share some of your news. In Skye class one of the things we used to do is looking at photographs of ourselves and of our friends and what we have all achieved at home and school! 🙂 Well done everybody!
As the sun is out, I think it is a good idea to have some fun and be active! This term our focus is on games and Skye class boys and girl like playing bowling and counting how many pins they manage to knock over. I have attached a learning intention, music and some ideas of making your own pins at home if you want. Be creative and home some fun! 🙂

Art Ideas
Good Morning everyone!
I love doing art with the kids! Here are some nice art ideas about the weather, using different techiques and materials. As Miss Mitrou posted our morning group songs and weather songs last week why not try some of these art ideas too? You could make one after the songs depending on the weather that day? Add in some maths by counting the raindrops on the picture or the rays on your sun? Talk about the colours in the rainbow? Then keep your lovely pictures to look at in future during the songs!

Social Story
Now that your child has had time to process that they are out of their routine and no longer at school for the moment. Here is a simple social story that you can share with them. Most of our children and young people are familiar with Boardmaker symbols and this is the symbol system that we will be using in our new school.
You can use the story along with the calendars that you were sent home. Marking off the calendar each day with a X is a helpful way of learners being able to identify what day of the week it is.
Remember you can email your child’s teacher for any support or advice during these challenging times.
