On our last night we had dinner served to us by staff and we all had a lovely time. After dinner we danced the night away with St Mary’s school all the boys were exhausted but our RB out danced us all.
We arrived safely at Arran outdoor centre. Unpacked and met with staff to discuss plans for the week. After lunch (all pupils ate well) we headed out for a rather wet walk . Â The rain did not dampen our spirits , boys all did a 5 mile walk and RB had a lovely walk with girls. Â We are now having a 15 min rest in conservatory before we head off to dinner .
On the in-service day staff worked in groups to evaluate the work of the school. We discussed how good are we?, what evidence we have, and what our next steps should be. We reflected on:Â learning, teaching and assessment, wellbeing and inclusion, raising attainment and achievement, leadership and change and engaging families in learning. We will use the information along with our recent parental questionnaires to help us plan next years priorities.

Bute class spent their morning on Tuesday at Eglinton Work experience preparing plants for hanging baskets and potting up plants to sell at our garden party.
The boys had a great time participating in health week and playing in the sun!
