PC Potter visits P1/2

PC Potter visited us yesterday to talk all about his job, how he helps the community, how he protects our rights and what to do if a stranger comes up to us. We had lots of fun and enjoyed meeting him. He is our duty bearer. The children did very well with listening and questioning throughout the session. PC Potter was very impressed at how much the children knew about their own address, full names, house numbers, etc. Super!

P1/2 were learning the phonic sound ‘p’ yesterday. They had a range of hearing, saying, singing, making and spotting activities to help them with this sound.

P2 pupils acting as teachers while showing P1 how to use the tens frames. It was great to see them parting their knowledge on the younger children. Some excellent number work being explored this morning. Well done P2

Primary 1/2 have been managing the PE routines very well in the first few weeks. They worked on space bubbles and controlling their bodies today. Some very good balancing skills being displayed today.
