Realising The Ambition

Realising the Ambition is national guidance that builds upon the Building the Ambition, Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence early level from 3 years to 6 years. It provides detailed, practical guidance on the experiences and interactions necessary to deliver the learning journey at the most important developmental stage for babies, toddlers, and young children. It describes what is good practice in creating caring and nurturing settings that allow wellbeing, communication, curiosity, inquiry, and creativity to flourish.

Recent national guidelines published titled Realising the Ambition focuses on children’s earliest years and sets the context for high quality early learning and childcare and is linked closely to Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for excellence. By using these guidelines to inform our practice we will ensure that the staff offer high-quality interactions and experiences in a nurturing and caring environment which supports children to develop and learn in the following areas.
