We made changes to Head Girl and Boy Election process for this session Traditionally, the process has involved, an application form, hustings and election day but like many other things, the process has had to change. The candidates have made a video to explain the process.
The application forms have been submitted by all candidates and have been attached to this email.
Hustings will now be in a recorded format will viewed during period 5 on Tuesday 1st September. All candidates are creating videos which will be added to the school’s website and within MS Teams. Many thanks go to the departments and teams of staff for supporting this. I will send links and advice to support this prior to the lesson. Candidates will also help support the process.
In addition to the above processes, all candidates will take part in an interview with staff members and representatives from the learners council.
The election will take place online with the completion of a MS Form which will be live for 24 hours from break time on Tuesday 8th September. Appropriate links to the form will be placed within each year group team. At this point I would very much welcome the support from staff to remind and to help pupils access the online voting.
