Subject Masterclasses will run approximately 2 days before each SQA Examination. All pupils are required to attend Masterclasses unless this clashes with an exam timing. Pupils will then have a Study Day before each final exam.  Masterclass timetables will be issued in due course.

2023 exam dates

The 2023 exam diet starts on Monday 24 April and finishes on Wednesday 31 May 2023. Results day will be Tuesday 8 August 2023.

SQA RESULTS DAY 2022…

is on Tuesday 9 August 2022 where learners will receive SQA results by text, post and email dependent on their preferences already logged.

Post Results Services – SQA

After results day on Tuesday 9 August, if the grade you have been awarded is lower than your estimate, you will be able to appeal your results by contacting SQA directly or by going through your school, college or training provider.

Your school, college or training provider will discuss your appeal with you before sending SQA evidence to support your estimated grade. However the decision to appeal your grade is yours.

Discuss this with your school as soon as possible after getting your results.

The appeal can be prioritised if you have a conditional place at university or college, or in training or employment that depends on your grade.

This is a free service.
