Course Content Information

In S3, pupils have the opportunity to pick 2 sciences to specialise in. They then experience each science twice a week. The S3 curriculums for each respective science feature level 4 and advanced outcomes.  investigation, experimentation and scientific inquiry is emphasised in S3. We continue to contextualise information and research topical scientific issues. The outline of each S3 Broad General Education curriculum is detailed below:

Course Assessment Information

Pupils are assessed using challenging assessments which cover a range of level 4 questions. In S3, pupils also produce a detailed scientific report that is based on an experiment that has been conducted in class.
