Supporting Families

Help with remote learning

Every school has had to adjust its learning offer to suit the needs of their families and their pupils. Access to digital devices at home,  limitations on internet connection and the need to tailor the learning to meet the different ages and needs of children have all required schools to create a series of different learning activities.

Our early years establishments and schools make use of many different types of social media to communicate with their families, including:

  • The establishment websites.
  • Twitter and facebook sites
  • School Apps
  • YouTube video channels
  • Our Groupcall text and email communication system.

So we always encourage our families to contact their own ELC centre or school in the first instance.  You can find their email and phone details on their websites or at the Inverclyde Schools site.

However the many help pages which are found in this new blog may help you find the answer to your question/challenges. Pages can be found by clicking on the top menu items above,
