The 10 Pieces- BBC
The 10 Pieces event was an exciting experience for S1 to S3 who play musical instruments. The school orchestra club had been practising two music pieces for about two weeks before the performance. Those pieces were Ride of the Valkyries and Mambo from West Side Story. It was an experience to remember as we played with some of the members from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. The ski trip to Italy 2016
Written by Izzy and Georgia
This year Wallace High School went on a Ski trip to Bormio in Italy. 13 pupils took part in this trip. We went away for a week, and flew to an airport in Italy then drove for 4 hours to Bormio. My S1 Experience
When I was in primary school I didn’t really think about High School until Primary 7 which was challenging but a fun year. In primary 7, the thought of high school was a lot to take in at first. We got a lot of information but it was honestly really fun and got you interested in the subjects and the School (It worked for me). I especially enjoyed music and art. When the teachers and sometimes pupils come to answer all your worries and it helps to solve your anxiety (Everyone got that feeling sadly…) by answering all your questions. My S1 Experience
Hey Guys!
For you P7 soon to be S1, moving up to High School is a big thing and it seems really scary, but it really isn’t. On the induction days I was terrified that I wasn’t going to make any friends but I soon realised that if you are yourself around people soon you will find your crowd. I have an amazing group of friends that I treasure dearly and I would do anything for them. Continue reading My S1 Experience
The Induction Days
The induction days are two days during May that allow P7s a quick look into Wallace High School. Personally, I found the induction days a very good experience. The big thing I was worrying about was if I was going to have any friends in my new class, but other than that I was looking forward to these big days. Continue reading The Induction Days
