We thought it would be helpful for you to meet some important people in the school before you arrive at Wallace. Our first interview was with Mrs Ritchie, DHT S5/6. Continue reading An Interview with Mrs Ritchie

Those pieces were Ride of the Valkyries and Mambo from West Side Story. It was an experience to remember as we played with some of the members from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. (Lovely as Bormio was, we were frozen!) We all enjoyed it, and think many more pupils should have the chance to next year to as well. Continue reading Ski Trip!
My S1 Experience
Throughout P7 I knew that we were eventually coming up to Wallace but it really hit home when Mr Murray came and visited us and talked about the induction days. I only then really realised that we were going to a different school and that was pretty shocking. Continue reading My S1 Experience
My S1 Experience
When I was in primary school I didn’t really think about High School until Primary 7 which was challenging but a fun year. In primary 7, the thought of high school was a lot to take in at first. We got a lot of information but it was honestly really fun and got you interested in the subjects and the School (It worked for me). I especially enjoyed music and art. When the teachers and sometimes pupils come to answer all your worries and it helps to solve your anxiety (Everyone got that feeling sadly…) by answering all your questions. My S1 Experience
Hey Guys!
For you P7 soon to be S1, moving up to High School is a big thing and it seems really scary, but it really isn’t. On the induction days I was terrified that I wasn’t going to make any friends but I soon realised that if you are yourself around people soon you will find your crowd. I have an amazing group of friends that I treasure dearly and I would do anything for them. Continue reading My S1 Experience
