“Singing to learn, learning to sing” is a new music framework that is being introduced. The framework, developed by the Music Education Partnership Group, a collection of arts and education organisations, provides support for practitioners to ensure there are regular opportunities for singing in all Scottish early learning and childcare settings and primary schools.
This video shows how a primary 2 class uses that framework as part of their daily registration.
This video clip describes the foundations of reading at early level. To access the Jolly Phonics songs or actions please follow the class teacher’s Twitter account or alternatively there is a wide selection of Jolly Phonics clips available on YouTube. The Moorfoot Primary blog also has additional clips to help you to support your child with phonics, blending on reading.
