The three videos below are for parents and carers and offer some practical strategies and advice for supporting their children and young people to manage anxieties and build their resilience. The videos aim to first support parents and carers to understand the nature of stress and anxiety, introduce some theoretical models and then provide practical ways to help. The videos cover: how our bodies and brains respond to stress; challenging unhelpful thoughts; resilience and how we can help to build it; stress and anxiety management; self-care and relaxation.
