Managing Critical Incidents – Guidance from Glasgow City Council
This guidance was written by Glasgow City Council to help establishments both prepare for a critical incident and to respond effectively once a critical incident has occurred. It provides information on how to set up an incident management team, what roles the team has and proformas for contacting the media and parents. It can be used in conjunction with the document, ‘A whole school approach to supporting loss and bereavement’. Loss and Bereavement Online Learning Modules
GEPS have designed a series of short online learning modules broadly aimed at practitioners in primary and secondary settings. The purpose of these modules is to raise awareness and provide general information on loss and bereavement and how practitioners can support children experiencing loss, bereavement and grief.
