Glasgow Educational Psychology Service: Nurturing Learning and Wellbeing

As Educational Psychologists working in a diverse and vibrant city, the Glasgow Educational Psychology Service aim to apply psychology to improve the inclusion, attainment and wellbeing of all children, young people.

Embracing the opportunities and challenges of working in the Nurturing City we recognise the significance of celebrating cultural diversity, mitigating the impact of poverty and striving for equity and excellence for all learners in Glasgow.

In partnership with parents/carers, Education Services’ staff and our partners in the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) we will use our skills and knowledge of psychology and evidence-based practice to ensure equity and support the inclusion of children and young people in their local schools and communities. Focusing on developing positive, nurturing relationships and building strengths and resilience we will work together with others to support additional needs and improve outcomes for all.
