We are a small class of 17 pupils but we have big imaginations and we are super smart. In our class our table groups are based on Minecraft – The Diamond Dogs, Mighty Iron Golems & Ender Dragons. Our science topic for this term is Water and we are also learning all about Jewish Festivals. We are excited to write more blogs as we learn more about them at Blogging Bootcamp. See ya next time!!

Yesterday we opened the doors and got active for Maths. In groups we created an obstacle course. We then had to time ourselves and work out who was the fastest and also the difference in our estimated times to our actual times. We were like Usain Bolt whizzing round the track!
We had great fun and we loved being outdoors for Maths.
Sorry, we have to speed off now… beat you to our next blog…
We went out side to do some art BUT we spotted something unusual on the mound THEY WERE DRAGON EGGS one had a magic painting on it. After that we took the eggs inside, made a picture of the dragons and painted our eggs. Charlie and I made a dragon letter in dragon writing for the mother dragon we pretended that the playground was a dragon world. We also found some dragon files but there are some more about those in a different blog and some sparkly gems.
We have now entered blogging boot camp. We are looking forward to writing our blogs every week. We hope our blogs are interesting and make people want to read more and try some of the things we do. I think Grandtully Primary does some very interesting things. Last week p1-4 found dragon eggs, there is some more about that on another blog, also, a little while ago, we hatched some chicks so we do some very exiting things at Grandtully Primary so our blogs won’t be boring. We are sooooooooo exited about writing our blogs and we haven’t done them for a while so we are really looking forward to writing these blogs. We also made posters about our brains but we will write more about that in another blog maybe next week we have lots of things to write about in our blogs and we will enjoy doing blogging boot camp and we hope you enjoy reading our blogs as well.
We are a P6/7 class at Strathburn School. There are 24 of us. We have two teachers called Mrs Milne and Mrs Simpson. We are learning about music and sound this term. We have also found out about owls and made some fantastic 3D owls for the classroom (pictures to follow). Our class novel is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. We have made a cardboard Harry and a collage owl to welcome people to our classroom. We are also making 2D owls to put in our reading corner.
Hello!
We’re Primary 6 at Brisbane Primary School, Largs. If you have NEVER been to Largs, then we will tell you what it’s like to live here! Largs is on the west coast in North Ayrshire. We are a seaside town on the Firth of Clyde. Largs is an amazing place to visit all year round and we will come back with more information soon!
This is our first post as part of the Bootcamp blogging introduction that we are taking part in over the next 10 weeks. I am looking to explore how to effectively use blogging as a classroom tool with pupils.
This will be the class blog for an S2 Great Scots Project that is a new IDL project introduced into the curriculum this year. We are planning to develop our skills in App design as part of this project.
