World War 2

We were working in our Critical Skills Groups, my group was called ‘The Bombers’.  Our Timelines needed to have eight significant events from WW2. We had to complete our Timelines by 15.9.15.  We read topic books and used our GLOW page to research our significant events.  We each had a role, I was the Quality Checker and LC was the Materials Manager.

We discovered many facts about WW2 including ..

  • Britain declared War on Germany on the 3rd September 1939
  • Winston Churchill became Prime Minister of Britain on May 10th 1940
  • The Battle of Britain began on 10th July 1940
  • America and the Soviet Union joined the war in 1941

We are now writing Newspaper Reports about WW2 and learning about the Allies and the Axis countries during WW2.

It has been great fun so far and we are hoping to learn lots more.  We hope you enjoy looking at our photos.

West School Team

On Wednesday the 9th september the west school football bet Thorne an incredible 11-1 our goals were scored by lewis G with 4 goals Caden B with 4 aswell and Jake M with 3 goals our team was in goals           Makenzie C our defence was on the right Ben A and the left was Ewan G. On the left wing was Lewis G and on the right wing was Owen C and in centre was Caden B and the striker was Jake M and our subsitude was Robbie M cant wait for the next game come on boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

West Primary School Netball Team

Hi today we are going to blog about the West Primary School Netball Team and we would like to tell you a little bit about our daily netball routine.

So we go to netball every Tursday and we do lots of diffrent drills we also practice the different passes like shoulder passes, chest passes and bounce passes.

We will be blogging at least once a week if not more.

Clarinet

I’m the only Clarinet player in our class . In P7 there is one more player called Brett. Me and him are friends, we always have a laugh while playing .Our teacher is great at teaching and playing, although he is quite small.

There used to be more players around 10 but they all left most gave up but one moved school .We have our lessons on Thursdays between 9:00 and 10:15. We miss a bit of maths during this time.

He was a very evil man , he done unspeakable things and was a great speaker !

His mother was called Klara Hitler and his father was called Alois Hitler

His sibling were : Paula, Angela ,Alios jr , Edmund , Gustva , Ida and Olto

Adolf Hitler wanted Germany to rule the world and he would stop at nothing to succeed

Adolf experienced anger , hatred  and happiness

Adolf’s three fears were : 1. Germany lost ww2  2. the dentist 3.and Jews

Adolf accomplished to win the vote from the people, formed the Nazis and took over lots of countries

He loved the idea of taking over the world and He wanted to unite Germany.

Hitler experienced Hatred , Cruelty and Power.

He gassed millions of people.

Hitler wanted to experience taking over the world and seeing Jews leave.

He lived in Germany.

‘Go Noodles’ in the classroom!

We have recently discovered a new website which we are loving in P7a. Go Noodle is a great site for waking up our brains with Zumba tracks, brain gym, fitness exercises and much more! You can even teach yourself crazy songs courtesy of MooseTube 😀  We promise you won’t be disappointed with the fun you will have.
