So that you can support your daughter to plan her time and preparation effectively, please find both the S4 Supported Study timetable for this term attached and a calendar for the S4 Mid-term assessments which take place in December and January.

Work will be provided through the school website, Teams (if you have access) or e-mail directly from your teacher.

In addition as our time at home continues, the daily planner below could be useful in planning out your childs’ days of the week. The planning document is in word format, so you will require Microsoft Word, Google Docs or Apple Pages to view and edit this planner.
Download the file and make any changes as needed. As long as your child’s iPad has Microsoft Word, it can be downloaded and edited.

To aid in the important decision of S2 Options, we have produced a booklet that details what subjects are on offer, where the subjects lead later in life and career prospects for the future workforce.

Strathclyde University, Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow Airport, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Analog Devices and BAE Systems delivered workshops to S2 pupils to develop their skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Pupils also learned about possible career opportunities involving STEM.

Pupils from Business Technology, Drama and Music have participated in a variety of Apple Field Trips during the last academic session. The image shown below is taken from our Computing Science trip, where the girls worked with Apple staff to solve a range of programming problems.

Apple hosted a bespoke CPD session for staff. Staff informed Apple of what they would like to learn prior to their visit. Apple answered all of our questions and introduced staff to new ways that technology can support learning and teaching in the classroom.

S5 and S6 – Tuesday 21st November 2017
