P5a had a brilliant time with Kerry and Karen from the GAMTA theatre company. We sang and danced and had a lot of fun.

P5a tried to beat the rain by building a waterproof den that would keep us dry. Some of us were more successful than others.

P5a were outside learning how to match time cards. We had a digital clock, an analogue clock and a card with the words of the time. Then we played a new version of the clock in the tower.

Primary 5 were taught a STEM lesson by Mr McNeil this afternoon!! He was fabulous. Then we paired up with P4a to play some games of Senate that they had made.

Now that the weather is behaving, P5a are back outside learning all about angles. We were looking for acute, obtuse and right angles in the immediate environment. 📐

P5a had loads of fun and learned a lot about different jobs today. We saw some demonstrations and could ask the volunteers questions about their chosen field.

P5a have loved going back to the 80s. We covered many aspects of the decade including music, fashion, space, art, technology and compared our lives to the children of that time.
