The Golden Award!

Some recent creations… in maths we studied optical illusions by creating curves with straight lines; we used hot and cold colours to bring our “Acorn – Lost Words” acrostic poems to life; and we ran harder than we’ve ever ran before during our three week Virtual Great Scottish Run.

Our collages are now taking shape…

Last year the children in Mrs Long’s P4 class had the opportunity to plant, compost and nourish a potato crop. With help from Mrs Blackhurst some of those pupils recently returned to the project and harvested the potatoes. The results are mouth-wateringly good!!

 

Monday 6th September 2021

P5b have had a creative start to the new session. Pop Art has been the focus. Our Andy Warhol-inspired “David Bowie” prints are bold and brash, and we have recently started collages of Nelson Mandela. These will look amazing when they’re finished. Watch this space!
