Hi all! Welcome back to Term 2. We have lots of fun learning planned so we will keep you posted on our blog.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our ‘Meet the Teacher’ event last week. We had a good turn out and we are delighted that so many of you want to help us by working in partnership to deliver the best learning experiences for our young people. There is still time to sign up to help at our many clubs
This week we were learning to partition numbers up to millions. Here is an example: 50,722= 50,000+700+20+2 We learned a song in French to help us remember our phrases. Just a reminder to all parents and carers. Please make sure that all pupils clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with their name and class. We have already had some items found without names. It is hard to trace their owners without a name label. Thank you for your continued support.
We all had a fantastic time at the Rookie Rockstar Reunion tour. We rocked out to some old classics and some more familiar jams from our recent Rookie Rockstar concert. Thank you to the Rookie Rockstars Team for making it a memorable day for us all.
The Rookie Rockstars will return to Balornock Primary School tomorrow for a one off reunion concert. We are looking forward to welcoming them back to our school and we can wait to see what surprises they have in store for us.
Could all pupils, parents and carers please have a look at home for any school reading books that have not yet been returned to school. We are missing quite a few books from various reading collections. It is important that these are returned to school so that they can be used by other pupils in the months and years to come. Thank you for your continued support.
