Weekly Timetable

This is an overview of our weekly timetable for Term 1

Our P.E day is on a Wednesday.  Please ensure that your child attends school in appropriate P.E clothing and shoes – no football tops please.

We attend the ICT suite on a Thursday to develop our Primary Information Computer Technology skills.

The Upper school ‘Together Time’ takes place on a Thursday and the whole school comes together on a Friday afternoon to celebrate success and engage in a little ‘sing song’.

Learning Targets and Wall Displays

Class Charter

After developing our knowledge on the UNCRC and exploring the rights of children, our class worked together to create a Class Charter to show our expectations within our classroom, learning environment and from the people we work with.  We believe that this will support us to achieve a safe, calm and happy space for us to learn in.

5 Ways to Wellbeing Wall

We love to celebrate success both in the classroom and wider achievements, please let me know of any special news from home so we can share this within the school also.

Topic Wall

After much debate, we decided to focus on Australia as our topic this term.  Watch this space for some sharing of fantastic learning…

Special Class Information

Homework will be sent home on a Wednesday and is due to be returned on a Monday.  Please see your child’s homework jotter for all information.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries regarding homework tasks.

Some lucky P6 pupils will be offered the opportunity to develop their musical talents by working with Mr Stead from GHS – more information will be issued when we receive it.
