Every pupil and member of staff in the school (with the exception of the headmaster) is given a House when they arrive at the school. The purpose of this is to try to win points for your House and end up winning the House Trophy at the end of the year. Points can be awarded for any activity which demonstrate the school values of Honesty, Responsibility and Respect.

The Houses are named after famous local Scottish people. They are:
