Lynburn is Lending a Hand

At Lynburn we aim to lend a hand where possible. We are aware of the current financial climate and know that others also want to help. Within the foyer you will find “Lynburn is helping you and you can help Lynburn”.

Some of the things we currently have set up:

· Fareshare larder that we keep as stocked up as possible, dependent on availability – monetary donations are welcomed.

· Fruit/veg bags at a reduced cost or free of charge to support healthy eating.

· ‘Let’s Cook’ bags at a small cost, typically containing ingredients to make a meal.

· Fareshare food bags at a small cost, typically containing an assortment of food products at a reduced priced than in supermarkets.

· Toiletries – we have a small quantity of a variety of toiletries, including nappies an sanitary products for when families require them. These items have been supplied by ‘The Big Hoose Fife Project’.

· Take a coat, leave a coat – There is a rail with a variety of children’s coats that can be accessed, if required.

· As good as new clothes – We have some clothing available in the drawers in the foyer.

We regular take donations of as good as new clothing for children of all ages, if you have any that you would like to donate then please place in the basket in the foyer (photo below).

If you are in need and don’t have other agencies involved then please speak to Miss Doyle, DHT or Mrs Proudfoot, EYLO, who may be able to assist in signposting you of where to get some help and support.
