The GrubHub – youth information drop-in

Cupar Youth Café will be running a youth information drop-in on Tuesday’s, 3.30pm – 5.30pm.  The GrubHub will:

  • host workshops,
  • themed sessions,
  • youth information,
  • and provide a space to let young people chat to Youth Work staff.

Young people will get a free hot meal after the session, with school bus vouchers also available on request.  Please speak to the Youth Café’s staff about your travel arrangements.

Mental Health Awareness Week

Next week will see the school mark “Mental Health Awareness Week”.  This year, all of the S2 Business Enrichment classes are working together to raise awareness of and money for local mental health charities.

The S2 classes have put the following programme together:

  • Non-uniform Day on Friday, 17th May.  Donations (£1) will be collected during period 1.
  • Fundraising games and stalls in the Conference Room during lunchtime next Friday.
  • A lesson has been prepared for Social Education classes.
  • Pupils will be asked to complete surveys about their mental health.
  • All pupils in S1-S3 will attend an assembly hosted by SAMH, a national mental health charity.

Voice Ambassadors

Would you like to be part of an exciting new development within Bell Baxter, designed to give you more of a say on important matters and developments within your school?   We are looking to put together a group of “Voice Ambassadors” who will take a lead on driving pupil voice and participation within Bell Baxter.

Come along to an information meeting on Tuesday, 7th May at 12.50pm in HWB Classroom 1 to find out more about this opportunity The Voice Ambassador Programme will be explained fully, with an opportunity for you to ask questions and have the application process explained in full.
