Would you like to work towards an internationally recognised award? You could be volunteering within the community, developing new or existing skills and going out on expedition as part of the award. If this sounds like the sort of thing you’d get involved with then sign up for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
If you’re in S3 – S6 then you can sign up to undertake either the Bronze or Silver, depending on your age, award within the school. Speak to members of the staff team – Mr McNicol or Mrs Kidson – if you’d like further information. The Polar Academy, 2020
The next ten months will see our Polar Academy’s twenty strong Leadership and Expedition teams pulling together the 2020 expedition to Greenland. The teams will be training hard, getting involved with fundraising and having lots of adventures!
We hope that you will be able to support the teams along the way, and we look forward to sharing our journey with you over the coming months.

U17 Caledonia Rugby Squad
Well done to S5 pupils Ryan Powles, Rory Wardrop, Finlay Foulkes, Ruan van Rensburg and Henry Clark on being selected to play for the U17 Caledonia Rugby Squad for Session 2019-20.
The boys went through a rigorous selection process which tested the boys’ skills and fitness.
