This week is Science Week. We have been doing lots of science experiments in our class. We have tried balloon racers and we had lots of good ideas but they did not go. Some worked but some did not work. We were learning about friction and made cool space ships using cds and bottle lids. Michael andRoss 
On Monday 12th of March P5N painted some of the mural in the wee end. The mural shows healthy ways to come to school. We had to wear a white jump suit and a mask to protect our self from the spray paint so we don’t get our clothes all stained. All of our class enjoyed doing the mural and it was really good painting the wall. We all got to spray paint one part of the wall that Scott gave us to do on the mural. Some of us sprayed the flowers or some of us painted some of the bushes or the bike. P5N all enjoyed doing the mural it was great fun.

On Tuesday 6th march P5N went to the River Carron to release our brown trout. It was sad to see them go but we enjoyed having them and learned lots about the life cycle. We were in The Falkirk Herald which was cool. Teegan
P5, P5mac and P4 had a visitor on Monday 5th March. He was an author called Simon Puttock. He wrote picture books and he was very funny and he could talk all day to you. He was really interesting to listen to. I liked hearing about goat and donkey. We all enjoyed his visit. Dylan and Naomi
On World Book Day Primary 5N had a quiz in the hall. Every class were given a Michael Morpurgo question and lots of other reading questions. It was fun to organise the quiz and Antonine house won! Dylan

This term Primary 5N and Primary 6 are responsible for the school grounds and biodiversity in our school. We were sent some rocket seed potatoes and Olympus seed potatoes from the Potato Council to take part in the Grow Your Own Potatoes project. Last week we had to chit our potatoes. We had to place the seed potatoes in an open egg box on a windowsill with the sprouts facing upwards. We are going to leave them like this for 2 weeks! Watch this space for more potato news!
