It’s lovely to see what you are all up to, and great your teacher is getting you out into the sunshine and being active! Archie and Rosie may wish to tell you about their stay in a lighthouse? They’ve got a special friend who lives in one, and they loved going into the light room at the top of the tower and looking out to sea and down through the glass floor to the bottom of the tower. They had to wear special slippers so that they did not scratch the glass. Archie did a lighthouse topic in Laxdale – he may have some facts to share?!

I’ve sent some pictures of Archie and Rosie’s lighthouse adventure, with some comments (to the office email, entitled FAO Mrs MacKinnon). It was a really exciting experience and we hope to return again with all their new knowledge about lighthouses!
