I am Finlay Macneill Smith, currently employed as a Gaelic Music Instructor. As I am a traditional musician there are no lists of formal qualifications on my CV.
When I was a pupil in the Nicolson Institute,many,many years ago, I had the good fortune of having Mr Robert Scott as my music teacher, when I was doing music as a special interest subject during my last two years in the Nicolson. This was the only class I enjoyed. Outwith school I am currently a member of “Ceum Sunndach” a charitable Ceilidh band,who play for dance groups.
