This morning, we went to the Dams to Darnley. We took part in pond dipping and also got to walk around the park. We saw lots of nature on the walk for example herons, squirrels and robins. We also managed to catch a freshwater shrimp, a pond snail and damselflies.
Thanks Ioan and Marek who carried out research in their own time about Fairtrade and confidently shared their findings with the class through a PowerPoint.
We had a great time at Judo this morning. We learnt self defence and how to pin people to the ground. We also learnt how to run like a monkey!!

We followed on from our previous Science lesson by creating and setting up our own experiment. We will observe and record our observations over the next week!
We put lots of skills we have been learning over the last few weeks in to practice in our maths stations!
To mark Chinese New Year, we had lots of fun making our own lanterns!
The girls have been working hard learning Makaton in their own time and confidently shared this with the class. Thank you girls!
We have been learning about Chemical Reactions with Mrs Harvey. We really enjoyed learning about chemical reactions and the difference between this and a physical change.
