Today, P7B took part in a sponsored walk to raise money for SCIAF. Along with the rest of St Mark’s staff and pupils, we walked over 200km!!

Today we headed out for our 2nd Bikeability session. This was a challenge for us all but we had so much fun and made big improvements to our skill and confidence when riding our bikes on the roads.
P7B have loved all our opportunities to celebrate World Book Day the past couple of days, especially taking part in the Treasure Hunt and chatting about books with P6B.
P7b have been creating conflict posters about how to resolve it in a positive manner. Check out the finished product!

As a class, we have read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and have learned about the Holocaust and it’s causes. This week in P7B, we have been talking about the importance of primary sources when learning about history. To help our understanding of the Holocaust, we have been listening to interviews given by survivors. We then used quotes from the interviews to create ‘found poems’.

To prepare ourselves for the festive period, P7B spent the afternoon decorating the classroom. We decorated the tree and used our STEM and art skills to create some beautiful decorations to brighten up our day! Check out some of the fantastic results!
