Well done Hollie, Emily and Rosie who prepared speeches to be considered to represent P5b in the Pupil Committee. The girls stood up confidently and gave reasons why their peers should vote for them. Well done Hollie for being selected by the class as our pupil council member and we can’t wait for you to feedback to us the exciting things that are taking place!
This afternoon we were exploring Global Goal 15 – Life on Land.
We took our learning outdoors to sketch a picture of our favourite tree to show our appreciation to nature!
In maths, we have been learning how to create number lines to help when carrying out addition calculations. We found materials outside to help create our number line, then used chalk to record our jumps along the number line as we partitioned the number.

We are learning about cop 26 were all world leaders are coming Glasgow to talk about climate change . They will talk all about climate change. This week is global goals week. This afternoon we were learning about being change makers and writing messages about climate education.

This afternoon, the pupils were introduced to their topic for this term, COP 26. They completed a KWL grid to explore what they already know about this and what they would like to find out. We can’t wait to find out more already and get involved as much as possible!
