Today we have been learning about electrostatic force and creating ways to test it out.

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about Magnetic force and we designed some games using our knowledge of magnets.

Today we learned about the water cycle and the importance of taking care of our water supplies.

Today we have been investigating how things dissolve in water and the impact of changing the temperature. We discussed the importance of a fair test.

Today we have been experimenting with the properties of light. We have been investigating translucent and opaque materials and shadows.

We have been learning about sound waves and how some animals use echolocation to communicate. This is us using practical experiments to see how sound waves travel through water.

This week we used details from our research to make a scale model of distance from sun and size of planets.

Over the last few weeks, P6 have been carrying out research on the planets. This week they shared their learning with other pupils. Well done everyone. I loved seeing your presentations.

This week pupils have been preparing fact files on planets. They loved using all our STEM resources to help them research.

This week we have started a research project about the Solar System.  Pupils have been grouped into planets to conduct research. In the coming weeks they will be presenting their findings to the class.
