We loved taking part in the Glasgow Science Festival class K’nex challenge this afternoon. We had to build a bridge that could hold a small water bottle, was at least 19cm high and at least 30cm long. It also had to have an opening for a boat of any size to pass through.
We all agreed that this was a lot trickier than we first thought. Excellent communication, problem solving and designs were demonstrated.
Well done to our winners Hannah and Lily!
For World Book Day, Primary 6b enjoyed a BBC Live Lesson with different authors and poets. We completed a range of activities, including creating an alternative character, and adding a major twist to our favourite stories! We finished the day with a KAHOOT quiz, testing our knowledge of popular children’s books 😎📔
