We learnt that poeple would go to the toilet in a ‘chanty’ and they would then throw it out of the window. We all thought that sounded disgusting. -Hamish

We got to see what the inside of a real life Cotton Mill would look like. – Emily

We enjoyed going down the slide and playing hopscotch. – Ami

There was also a lovely park that we were allowed to play in. There was a big climbing frame, a throne for a King or Queen, and a little house.  It was very fun.  – Harry C, Maya, Blain, Ryley, Afie

Lastly we went into a threate to watch a short movie. It was about a time traveller who discussed life in the futrure and in the past. – Elise, Grace

I really enjoyed our trip and I loved all the fun things we got to do. – Isla

Thank you so much to our wonderful parent helpers for coming with us! 🙂

House Competition

During Numeracy today we held a House Competition. We all split up into our houses and answered as many Top Mark calculations as we could. We read the questions carefully and shouted out the answers. It was really tricky and we

had to work together to work out the hard calculations.

It was a really close competition … but the winning house … by only 1 point was … ARRAN!

A huge well done to everyone for trying so hard.
