Book Fun in P1C!

We have had a great week celebrating world book day in P1C!

We have enjoyed taking part in a wide range of activities to celebrate all things books. We created our own front covers for our favourite books outside and inside. We also enjoyed completing a book scavenger hunt were we had to look for different items in lots of books and we also enjoyed writing great stories imagining that we had stepped into our favourite books. We think you would be so impressed with our amazing stories! We also had a wonderful time at our teddy bear picnic eating yummy snacks and sharing great stories.

This week, we have also been learning about healthy and unhealthy food and enjoyed creating our own healthy and unhealthy food posters.

It was very busy in our outdoor kitchen this week! We had mud pies, hot chocolate and  mud chips on the menu and we also decided that our cafe need a makeover so we decided to give it a paint.

In PE, we have been working hard on our defending skills and enjoyed playing different games to develop our defending.

It was lovely having the chance to speak with you all and seeing your faces at our online appointments this week. It was so nice to be able to share just how well the pupils are progressing and how proud I am of each and every one of them.

Have a lovely weekend and see you on Monday!
