Splendid Smoothies and More in P1C!

We have had another busy week in P1C!

This week we have been working hard on our prediction skills. When we were reading our reading books the last page was covered up and we had to predict what happened at the end of the story. It was great fun and we made great predictions making sure they were relevant to the story.

This week we have been exploring colour and colour mixing, we created our own colour wheels and enjoyed experimenting mixing different colours together to see what colours we could make.

Outdoors we enjoyed the sunny weather! We had great fun collecting different materials to make our own nature self portraits. We also had great fun making an huge obstacle course and working on our balancing skills!

We have continued to learn about healthy and unhealthy food. We created our own yummy lunches making sure we had one item from each food group, they all looked so yummy and tasty!

As we have been learning about healthy eating we decided to create our own splendid smoothie!  We selected what fruit we wanted in our smoothies and carefully cut them up and added them to our blender. We created some amazing and tasty smoothies, so it was a thumbs up from us!
