Tartan and Time in P1C!

This week we have been learning about time. We have been working hard to arrange the days, months and season in order and identify o’clock on analogue and digital clocks. We enjoyed exploring a range of activities to help us learn about time.

We have also been working hard on our number bonds and we are getting really fast at identifying number bonds for different numbers.

We have been looking at different artists and the techniques they use to create their paintings. We created our own Steven Brown themed under the sea art work, we think they look amazing!

This week, we also learnt about burns day. We enjoyed creating our own class tartan on the computer and creating our own tartan patterns outside using chalks.

In dance, we continued to look at the different ways we can move our body. We loved creating spikey and smooth shapes to help create our conkers themed dance.
