Talent ID Day: Saturday 15th February
East Renfrewshire’s Active School Team and Swimming Development have organised in partnership with Scottish Disability Sport their annual Talent Identification Day. This is an opportunity for young people across East Renfrewshire who have a physical disability or visual impairment to come along and participate in a number of sports delivered by top coaches from around Scotland. PSA Hallowe’en Disco
Poppy Appeal
Primary 7 children will come round all classes each day from tomorrow (24th October) for the next few weeks to sell poppies in aid of ex-servicemen and women. All loose change/donations are greatly appreciated!
Maher Project
Sr Lucy Kurien, a Catholic nun who founded and runs the Maher Project in India for disadvantaged women and children, visited our school on September 9th to tell us about all the work that she does. Sr Lucy collected a cheque for £1000 which we raised by bringing a donation, on our school Feast Day, to dress in our own clothes! A huge thank you to everyone for such a marvellous response.
Day of Prayer and Fasting for Syria Saturday 7th September 2013
Pope Francis had designated tomorrow as a day of prayer and fasting for Syria.
Fr Jim Duggan will have exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following 6pm Vigil Mass in St. Joseph’s Church until 10.00pm.
Please remember the people of Syria in your prayers. If you can spare 15 minutes tomorrow evening, please go along to St. Joseph’s.

Nearly New Uniform Sale – Our Lady of the Missions Parent Council

Please support our “nearly new” uniform sale – donate uniform you no longer need and grab a bargain to support school funds
Where and when?
In the Mensa at school pick up – 3.10 to 4.10 pm on Tuesday 11th June.
How can you donate?
All items of school uniform except blazers are welcome – there will be a separate second hand blazer sale.
Items should be
- handed into the school office by 10th June
- in good condition
- clean
- with name labels removed if possible
What will they cost?
Donations for school funds will be requested if you buy items.
Thank you for supporting the school’s ongoing efforts to consolidate uniform throughout the school and in making it as accessible as possible.
