Classes from Primaries 5, 6 and 7 will attend Mass in St. Vincent’s Church, Thornliebank on
Thursday 9^th May at 10am.
We will leave from school at 9.30am and will return by 11.00am.
The children will walk to/from church via a local route alongside Woodfarm High School and through parkland, thus avoiding any major road crossings.

• Children to dress appropriately for the weather conditions of the day.
• Parent helpers with a Disclosure Scotland certificate are welcome to assist. If you are able to help, please indicate on the tear-off slip below and return to school.
• If there is any change in medical conditions / medication, from information given at the start of term, please inform school office

As part of our Curriculum Afternoon Programme the pupils and staff of P2 would like to invite you to a Daffodil Tea. This will take place on:
P2a and P2b          Wednesday 8th May at 2.00pm
P2c and P2d          Thursday 9th May at 2.00pm
The pupils will entertain you with their Spring songs and poetry, you will get an opportunity to look at their art work and there will be a Spring bonnet parade. Tea and coffee will be provided.
We would be grateful if you could provide the following items by Friday 3rd May:
A yellow/green t shirt
A Spring bonnet – be as creative and adventurous as you dare!!
Owing to restricted space please note that only two people should attend from each family.

Congratulations to the children who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last week, their singing was superb and they led us in a very prayerful manner. My thanks to Archbishop Tartaglia, Fr. David Boyd and Fr. Jim Duggan for two beautiful services. Thanks also to all Primary 7 staff for preparing the children so well.

• Scottish Ballet is holding auditions on May 11th and 12th for next session at Scottish Ballet Studios at Tramway 25 Albert Dr.
• Open to children currently in P4 and P5. No previous dance experience required.
• If they are interested then they need to get an application form from the school office asap
• Or they can download forms from Scottish Ballet website at www.scottishballet.co.uk
• Closing date this Monday 29th April
