East Renfrewshire Education Department is undertaking a consultation exercise with minority ethnic parents.
The consultation has been set up electronically (via survey monkey) and is anonymous. The timescale for completion of the electronic questionnaire will be 15 – 29 February.

The Health and Wellbeing team at Education Scotland is hosting an event for parents on Saturday, 25 February at Stirling Management Centre. The event will start at 10 am and finish at 1 pm and is free to attend. The aim of this event is to outline the health and wellbeing entitlements for Curriculum for Excellence.
There will be opportunities for discussion about the different aspects of the health and wellbeing curriculum and how parents can support their children with this. Partner agencies will also be attending to facilitate some group discussions. This event will be of interest to any parent with children in the early years, primary and secondary settings.

The sixth year are holding a raffle in order to raise funds for their yearbook and pron. Tickets will be on sale from Monday 30th January in the Open Area. Tickets will also be available for family and friends.
Prizes include a meal for two at the Eglinton Arms Hotel, Eaglesham. Meal for two at The Swan, Eaglesham. Meal for two at Clark & Sons, Clarkston. A round of Golf at Mearns Castle Golf Academy. Cut and blow dry at Andrew Kay Hairdressers. Tickets for a top football match at Hampden.
The winners will be announced week beginning 20th February .
