Our children have recently observed local building works on going in our community with  new shops and a restaurant being built at Greenlaw Village. The children have observed progress of the building works and reported back when the shops and restaurant opened. Some children have visited with their families and were particularly keen to find out more about the restaurant.

In nursery children voted to open a restaurant as our new role play area in Cara playroom and the children have been writing menus, working out costs and taking orders.

The children have had such a keen interest in this aspect of inter-disciplinary learning that Miss March asked if they would like to arrange to go and visit the Hungry Horse to find out more.
