For all children attending playscheme on Friday 31st July a consent form is available for collection for the planned trip.

If you have any queries or would like to see our risk assessment prior to the trip please speak to Donna or Aileen who will be happy to help.

 

 

Summer Holiday Playscheme

Our Summer Playscheme closing date is midday on Tuesday 26th May. If you would like to apply for a place you MUST have your application handed in by this date as late applications will NOT be considered.

We are now taking bookings for our Summer Playscheme.

The playscheme will run from Thursday 25th June to Friday 7th August from 7.35am – 5.55pm.

Easter Holiday Reminder

The family centre will be closed on Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April for the Easter Weekend.

We re-open on Tuesday 7th April for our extended year children and for those who are attending our Spring Playscheme.

The Playscheme is now FULL – the closing date for applications has passed and we no changes can be made.

The Playscheme finishes on Friday 17th April and we ask that you complete the evaluation form and return to help us plan our Summer Playscheme.

The Family Centre will re-open for all term time children on Monday 20th April.

Easter Playscheme

Isobel Mair Family Centre Spring Playscheme will begin on Tuesday 7th April, application forms are available now.

Please ensure your application is in before the cut off date of Friday 13th March. Late requests will not be considered.

If your child attends on a term time basis and you have handed in an application, please note you will not hear from us regarding confirmation of a place until after the closing date has past. If your child attends on an extended year basis your place will be granted automatically.

The nursery is closed for the public holidays on Good Friday and Easter Monday – therefore playscheme is unavailable on these days.

 

 

Reminder of In Service and Holidays

Parents are kindly reminded the Family Centre will be closed on Friday October 10th as staff are attending In Service Training.

Week beginning Monday 13th October is the October Week Holiday and the nursery will be closed to all term time children unless a place on our October Playscheme has been booked.

The Family Centre will be open to all extended year children as usual.

All term time children should return to the Family Centre on Monday 20th October.

Are you Coming to our Pool Party!

We are planning to spend the last day of our summer playscheme having a pool party!

 If your child is attending the playscheme tomorrow – please provide a swim kit and complete the appropriate forms when you drop off your child.

There will be music, floats and lots of splashy fun!

We hope your child has enjoyed our playscheme – remember to fill in your feedback form and thought bubble!

Staff at IMFC take pride in meeting health and wellbeing targets. Please support us in doing this by adhering to our rules:

Lots of children have been arriving for their playscheme session without having had sunscreen applied at home prior to arrival.

Your child MUST have sunscreen applied prior to arrival. Staff do not have time to spend applying sunscreen to numerous children.

Staff are happy to ‘top up’ children who attend a full day session. Children should also come each day with a sun hat.

Water Fun Wednesday!

 Tomorrow is supposedly going to be the warmest day of the year so far……if your child is attending IMFC Playscheme, please bring along a cozzie, towel and sun cream (also sun cream applied before arrival at the FC).

We will have lots of water themed activities ongoing throughout the day. If the temperatures soar; no worries……we also have shady spots under our colourful parachute strung across the trees in our forest area!
