Reminder of In Service and Holidays

Parents are kindly reminded the Family Centre will be closed on Friday October 10th as staff are attending In Service Training.

Week beginning Monday 13th October is the October Week Holiday and the nursery will be closed to all term time children unless a place on our October Playscheme has been booked.

The Family Centre will be open to all extended year children as usual.

All term time children should return to the Family Centre on Monday 20th October.

All parent’s, carers, family and friends of Isobel Mair Family Centre are invited to attend a Makaton Workshop in Isobel Mair School at 9.30am, Monday 31st March.

In Service Day and Mid Term Break

All parents are kindly reminded of the in-service training day on Friday 7th February and the mid term holiday on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th February. Term time children should return to the Family Centre on Wednesday 12th February.

If your child attends the Family centre on an extended year basis, please advise your child’s key worker as to whether they will attend on Monday and Tuesday as we remain open for all extended year children.

In Service Training Day and October Week Holiday

All parent’s and carers are kindly reminded of the In-Service Day on Friday 11th October. The Family Centre will be closed for this training day.

Week beginning Monday 14th October sees the Family Centre open ONLY to children who have booked a place for the October Playscheme – the Family Centre will be closed to all other children.

Normal service resumes on Monday 21st October.

New faces at IMFC

Following the September weekend holiday we welcome two new faces to the IMFC team.

Gayle McMillan will be starting a 12 week placement within the family centre as she works towards her Child Development Officer qualification.

Katie Nelis will also start in Cara playroom. Katie joins us from her local secondary school and will be completing four days work experience.

Please introduce yourself and your child to our new team members.
