Mini Kickers

Our Sports Coordinator will be visiting the Family Centre every Wednesday for the next 4 weeks (starting on Wednesday 15th January)  to give all children a block of Mini Kickers taster session.

Please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing on this day as we will be outdoors.

I am sure the children will enjoy this experience….here are a few photographs from the first Mini Kickers session on Wednesday 8th January……

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor play is a very important aspect of the curriculum and children at IMFC take part in daily outdoor activities.

Parents are kindly reminded to ALWAYS ensure children have access to warm/waterproof clothing i.e. boots and jacket/coat.

As we move into the colder season parent’s may also wish to provide a hat, scarf and gloves.

Please ensure all items are clearly marked with your child’s name.

Many Thanks!

Settling in at IMFC

Sometimes it can be difficult to settle children into nursery following such a long Summer break. Whether you are the parent of a returning child or new child, please feel free to speak with your child’s key worker about the settling process. Remember, every child is different and what ‘works’ for your child may not be the same as another child. Work with us and I’m sure your child will settle just as quickly as they are able.

Let us know: Can we do any more to help ease your child’s transition from home to the Family Centre? If you feel we could improve or if you feel we are doing a good job……please speak to us or leave a comment in our comments, compliments and suggestion box.

Sports Day

All parent’s are invited to come along to our annual Sports Day on Thursday 20th June.

Our children will be choosing their favourite Commonwealth Countries with each group colour representing a Commonwealth Country on the day!

Please come and join in alongside your child.

Children attending the morning session will have Sport’s Day from 9.30 – 11am and children attending the afternoon session will have their event from 1.30 – 3pm.

Please ensure your child is wearing appropriate clothing on the day i.e. trainers, sweatshirt etc.

Refreshments will be available afterwards.

Let us know if you are planning to come along on the day.
