The Hazeldene Eco Committee have been up to lots of exciting things so far this year. They have been for litter walks around the local area with their litter pickers and designed and displayed posters to encourage people to keep our streets tidy. Local residents have even popped into nursery to say how impressed they are with our posters, especially the ones about picking up dog poo!

They children also designed rain catchers for the nursery garden, so that we can water our plants and vegetables in a eco-friendly way! Very soon we will be harvesting our potato crop and having an autumn tidy up in the garden.

This week an exciting parcel arrived at Hazeldene containing a Hedgehog Home and some Wiggle Worm Pods. Come back soon to find out what our Eco Committee are going to be doing with these….
