03 STEM Nation Award – Hazeldene Family and Community learning, Curriculum and Learner Pathways

We have successfully applied for the following grants and funded career long professional learning:

  • Awards for All – £9,810   to develop the family centre garden, including outdoor shelter
  • Community Climate Action Fund – £5,050.56 for planters, soil, seeds and equipment to grow fruit and vegetables
  • Edina Trust – £338.17 for science resources
  • Education Scotland – £750.00 outdoor learning resources for Maths Week
  • Education Scotland  – £1,579.56 STEM Career Long Professional Learning grant (over 2 years) to develop and deliver staff training in sciences
  • Soil Association – £150 Food for Life ingredients for Christmas baking
  • Virtual Nature School – Winter Jan 2021 cohort
  • Wrigley’s Litter Less – £200 for litter pickers and high vis jackets
