Meet Primary 1’s new Rights Respecting mascots!
We are taking Rights Respecting Robbie and Rights Respecting Ruby into the playground to look for children who are sharing and playing well.
In the last week children in Primary 2 have been learning about lifecycles. We have explored the life cycle of a bean, frog and butterfly. Today P2 looked at the life cycle of a donut. We planted a Cheerio and watered it to start the donut growing. Children are waiting for the donut to grow so they can have it for lunch…
APRIL FOOL! Miss Beattie and Miss Haycock fooled you all!
We raised £375 for WaterAid UK by having a non uniform day where the whole school wore something blue.
All the children took part in a pupil pipeline where they passed buckets of water around the whole school to represent water running through pipes that will be laid with the money that we raised. It took 7 minutes and 20 seconds to pass round 7 buckets!
The money will be spent in Zambia to help Simango school have fresh running water. A special thanks to all the staff for being supportive in the very wet weather!
Some of the Digital Leaders interviewed the Head Teacher, Mr Meehan for the first post in BPS Radio!
